For over a decade these free, family-friendly concerts have drawn hundreds of people to the beautiful Bird Park setting for picnics, dancing, and enjoying the music of local talent. 
The 2015 Bird Park Summer Concerts schedule is below. All concerts are from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Bird Park (Upas St @ 28th Street in North Park).
Please no alcohol, glass, grills, or unleashed dogs. See you at Bird Park!
Did you know that one Bird Park Summer Concert Series costs the North Park Community Association between $19,000 and $20,000 to produce?  All funding has to be privately raised and you can help.

The 19th Annual San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park takes place on Saturday, May 16th from 11am to 6pm. A local tradition, this free festival features amazing local art, exciting live music and dance performances, eco-friendly activities, vendor booths and fabulous food.

A beer buddy alerted Eater to the soft opening of a new North Park beer spot, Barn Brewery; the just-launched 1,500-square-foot space sits between the San Diego Soup Shoppe and the future site of Cafe Madeleine on El Cajon Boulevard.

Man stabbed at North Park bus stop
A man was stabbed at a bus stop at 30th Street and El Cajon Boulevard in North Park Monday night by an acquaintance who rode up to him on a bicycle, San Diego police said. The victim, a 19-year-old man, was stabbed once in the chest about 7:45 p.m.

SANDAG to present bike plan for North Park neighborhood
SAN DIEGO, California -- America's Finest City wants to be a bicycle-friendly neighborhood, and traffic planners are proposing ways to make our streets friendly to bikers. The plan for the Mission Hills-Hillcrest communities has run into controversy, but so far not a lot of heat has been generated over the plan for North Park, often called one of America's hippest neighborhoods.

New "On-Demand" Parking Hits San Diego
A newly-launched parking service could help drivers find a spot more easily in a pinch in some of San Diego's busiest communities. Ace Parking, which is headquartered in San Diego, has partnered with BluCar, an "on-demand" parking app to offer something dubbed "cloud parking" in neighborhoods like North Park, Hillcrest, Little Italy and La Jolla.
