The Police Department is restructuring its beat districts for the first time in 30 years. On September 17th, North Park will become part of the Mid-City Division instead of Western Division. Lt. Todd Jarvis, Acting Captain of the Mid-City Division of the San Diego Police Department, was the guest speaker at Thursday's North Park Action Team meeting, and he explained how the decision was made to adjust several Division lines. The net effect should be quicker response times and more available police time for the community. A/Capt.
