Concert This Weekend
For over a decade these free, family-friendly concerts have drawn hundreds of people to the beautiful Bird Park setting for picnics, dancing, and enjoying the music of local talent. 
Join us from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Bird Park (Upas St @ 28th Street in North Park) this Saturday. Please no alcohol, glass, grills, or unleashed dogs. See you at Bird Park!
Did you know that one Bird Park Summer Concert Series costs the North Park Community Association between $19,000 and $20,000 to produce?  All funding has to be privately raised and you can help.

Thieves steal from North Park home as homeowner sleeps
SAN DIEGO - A homeowner in North Park is shaken after thieves broke into his home while he was asleep. The home invasion happened Thursday morning in the 4600 block of Texas Street. Carlo Toribio says he hasn't gotten much sleep since the incident.

3 fires break out in abandoned North Park building
SAN DIEGO - Three separate fires broke out inside an abandoned North Park building late Sunday night. The fires broke out before 11:45 p.m. at a two-story building at the intersection of Texas Street and Howard Avenue. Someone at a McDonald's across the street noticed smoke coming from the building and called 911.

TargetExpress to open in South Park in the fall
